I'm in the process of learning game development. I've played video games my whole life and grew up with Lego star wars, Doom 2, lots of Zelda, lots of Wii sports, and a large variety of flash games.  I am particularly inspired by all of the Half lifes (haven't played Decay or Alyx, yet), Doom 2 and the new ones, Portal (of course), and Super Mario Galaxy. I'm interested in making mostly movement based games, definitely aware of "if it isn't fun, why bother?". I am very interested in making games completely different from that, though.
